If you own a small business and have an opportunity to participate in the Business Round Table (BRT) I would strongly encourage you to do so. Members of BRT share many of the same challenges as owners of a business, it can be lonely at the top and few understand. The round table provides an open forum to discuss both business and personal challenges with like-minded people in the community. We have all criticized our field with peers in the same business, but the round table goes beyond the broad discussions challenging every business in an industry and helps you focus on your business operation. Ideas and concerns are viewed in a different light when the baggage of the industry is removed. BRT has strict confidentiality rules, the more you give the more you will receive.
